The gentlemen in attendance were looking fine. Nelly‘s got that casual millionaire thing happening; J. Cole rocks a slightly old-school vibe; Pharrell is fashion-forward in a shrunken jacket and interestingly tailored trousers.
Your boyfriend T.I.: Suited. Sexy.
Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake performed, but did not hit the red carpet. Both did twists on the tux, but Thicke’s was better (just like “Blurred Lines” is a better jam than “Suit and Tie,” sorry JT.)
Guys. The Doggfather is going gray! Love his sparkly lapels and open shirt with chains, though. James Brown-esque.
Moving on to the ladies! We’re starting with the dark colors. Chic and sleek in black and gold:Angela Bassett and Laila Ali.
Cute hair and a bare midriff are a great summery look on Ciara.
Did you know that Kat Graham of The Vampire Diaries has a singing career? She’s beautiful, but this hair color really washes out her face. And this ’90s Versace-throwback ensemble is not very flattering.
Interesting color-blocked gown, cool clutch: Melanie Fiona.
Lots of shine for Lisa Leslie and Naya Rivera.
Moving on to some bright hues: Sunny yellow looks good on new mom Amber Rose (withWiz Khalifa).
It’s tough to focus on Megan Good‘s electric blue dress with all that inner boob, cleavage, underboob and nipple. Never forget we’re in the golden age of boob exposure!
Gabrielle Union is kind of understated in a simple crimson strapless dress.
Kicking things up a notch in a fiery red gown: Adrienne Bailon.
Figure-hugging dresses for LaLa Anthony and India Arie.
Going even shorter and tighter, with spectacular shoes and jewelry: Eve.
Looks like the beige/tan/peachy/fleshtone dresses are still with us. Tamar Braxton‘s shoes make up for the slightly dull palette.
These were the 0nly shots of Quvenzhané Wallis — no full length! — but as long as we can see the pink nails and the puppy purse, we’re good. Please note: That puppy is wearing a tiara.
Usually mullet dresses are fairly icky, but Gabby Douglas looks good.
Sanaa Lathan contrasts a pale, neutral gown with vivid red lips. Gorgeous.
Brandy‘s delicate embroidered dress and bondage-y ballerina shoes are kind of weird but I think I like them.
Ashanti has a similar look — short, embroidered dress and neutral heels — but I like it less. By the by, a lot of people wore white to this event.
It’s been a while since we saw ANTM alum Toccara Jones. Bright white looks great against her skin.
Are you over sheer/see through panels on dresses yet? Paula Patton is not.
Elegant in long white column gowns: Beverly Johnson, Kelly Rowland.
The length is a little off, but this slinky jumpsuit on LeToya Luckett is white hot Studio 54 realness. Love.
I don’t know what the fuck Mya is wearing — it seems like a jumpsuit with a jacket over it, and there are some weird cutouts involved — but it’s good to see her.
My pick for Best Dressed: Janelle Monae. Crisp white suit, sparkling silver heels and a healthy dose of bling = fabulousness.
And the hair! So cool.
Ludacris & Eudoxie
These two? Hmmmmm. I feel like these two have no chemistry at all. I’m not the only one because when I’ve read comments after looking at pictures of them, the resounding thought is “Are they a real couple?” Eudoxie often looks annoyed or mad actually, I think it might be her “Hot” look (and there is no doubt that she’s got it goin’ on). Luda’s crazy self is often giving silly faces to the camera. But just based on what we’ve seen? It doesn’t look like much“fire” there.
Niecy Nash & Jay Tucker
If you watched their wedding special, you should know exactly what I’m talking about. I like Niecy – she seems very nice and down to earth. She also seems like a person who is in love with love and wanted to make sure she kept her boo under any and all circumstances. During the show, her children were a little concerned about her marrying him and possibly moving too fast. Sometimes, they’d catch a shot of Jay and he was looking like, “Man, I don’t know WHAT is going on here.” Well, a person in love is a person in love and their doting can often be confused with…obsession, a little bit?
Carmelo & LaLa
A lot of people have been talking about these two lately because there have been a couple of stories leaking about Melo’s infidelity. Some say Lala is crazy because she wants people to believe that everything is good in their lives and that she loves him more than he even cares about her. I don’t think I agree with the latter in full but it does seem like they both have so much going on in their separate lives that when they’re together, it can look a little forced.
Justin Timberlake & Jessical Biel
These two have been on again-off again for years now and quite frankly, I think Justin could take or leave Jessica. Sure, he cares about her but if you’ve ever watched Justin’s history, his relationships end around the two or three year mark. Jessica always appears like she’s holding onto the hopes that one day he won’t be like that. Sure, they’re engaged but with rumors swirling that she might be pregnant, it could be that “putting a ring on it” is something JT felt like he better do. I’m keeping an eye out on these two.
Chad Johnson & Evelyn Lozada
I’ve not been able to find one person who believes these two are engaged because of love and wanting to be together. Most people believe that Chad wanted to get another reality show and Evelyn wanted to be married to some type of ball player and so it worked out well. I believe that too; however, it does look like Evelyn has at least a few of her emotions tied into this. Last season on “Love & Basketball,” they argued because Chad was out with a woman having lunch and he didn’t tell Evelyn. Yes, she cares that random pictures taken would have her looking crazy but she also let Chad know that there’s a certain way to “act” once you’re engaged. Chad basically told her, “This is me so deal with it,” told a joke and brushed over the whole thing. Apparently on one of this season’s episodes (I’m not watching – I’ve had enough of these ladies’ ignorance), he told her he may step out a time or two and they’ve discussed an…open relationship? Yeah okay, something isn’t right here. I’d be surprised if they got married and if they do, I think it’ll be because Evelyn wanted to “prove the haters wrong.”
Emily & Fabolous
Big surprise here, huh? I mean, who didn’t know these two would be on this list? According to Emily, she & Fab are together or something because she’s enjoying tweeting pictures of the two of them together. Him? Eh, not so much. Emily has been more vocal on her Twitter page lately defending her decision to stick it out with him in hopes that he not only publicly claim her but be faithful to her as well. Fab just doesn’t seem to care about any of this at all.
Newly engaged couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted leaving a restaurant in Brentwood, CA Thursday after having lunch together, and for the very first time, Jessica showed off that HUGE rock Justin used over the Holidays to propose to her!
JT and JB have been engaged for almost three months, and though the couple has been excitedly talking about the news with friends and family, this is the first time Jessica — who just celebrated her 30th birthday last week — has worn her engagement ring out in public.
According to US Weekly, Justin and Jessica, who have been together on-and-off for nearly five years, are planning to wed “this summer at a private estate.”
Imagine for a moment that Celine Dion’s massive hit “Because You Loved Me” wasn’t sung by the chanteuse or if Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” was sung by a rival pop songstress. Would the songs be as huge as they were if recorded by a different artist?
It’s hard to imagine anyone but Madonna singing her 1983 classic “Holiday,” but these songs and tons more in our gallery weren’t initially offered to the singers who eventually made them hits.

In my opinion this movie was a waste of time. I will point out Justin Timberlake’s performance was exceptional and it shows how much he has improved his acting chops. The storyline is very different but lacks execution…the script needs to be rewritten with different producers and director…all that said I would give it an amptup 5.5/10 and thats being generous.
