Senzo Meyiwa has been shot and killed!
It’s a sad night for South Africa as news of Senzo Meyiwa’s death sends shock waves around the world.
The Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana soccer star was tragically shot about an hour ago. According to Supersport Senzo was allegedly killed outside Kelly Khumalo’s house after an unknown male opened fire in a botched robbery.
The man apparently demanded Senzo’s cellphone and money.Kelly Khumalo has been spotted leaving the hospital.

The nation is still mourning the death of Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana captain and goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa. The star’s life was cut short after he was shot and killed in Vosloorus on Sunday evening. Police are still investigating the murder and no arrests have been made yet.
Fans, soccer players and family members have shared their feeling about the star’s death. One person who is yet to make a comment is Senzo’s wife. Although the soccer player was involved with singer Kelly Khumalo, he was legally married to Mandisa Mkhize. The two, who have two children together, reportedly met in 2005.
According to a 2012 New Age newspaper article, Mandisa described Senzo as a pillar of strength and said he had taught her never to give up. “Even when things were not going his way, he kept on telling me that he will fight on,” she said.

Senzo Meyiwa’s wife allegedly not coping!
Senzo Meyiwa’s wife, Mandisa Mkhize, is reportedly devastated by the soccer star’s death.
“Mandisa is not coping at all. She is devastated. She never expected to get a call that he had been killed,” Mandisa’s friend told Daily Mail.
Even though their relationship was under strain, Mandisa was allegedly shocked when she got the call telling her that Senzo had been shot at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s house.
The report also claims that Senzo was supposed to meet Mandisa at a party in Sunninghill the night of the shooting.Apparently Mandisa is too distraught to take any phone calls and is expected to go to Umlazi within the next few days to mourn with Senzo’s family and attend his funeral
Kelly Khumalo breaks her silence
Kelly Khumalo has finally broken her silence after Senzo Meyiwa’s death.
The Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana captain and goalkeeper was murdered at Kelly’s home in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg on Sunday evening.
In a statement, the singer sent her condolences to Senzo’s family. The statement read: “Kelly Khumalo and her family would like to express their sincere condolences to the Meyiwa family for the loss of Senzo Meyiwa, who was tragically shot at their family home in Vosloorus, in the presence of Kelly’s family [her mother Ntombi, sister Zandi, and son Christian] Tumelo and Mthoko [Senzo’s friends] and Longwe Twala.”
The statement continued,”This has been an incredibly traumatic experience for the Khumalo family. As the law takes its course, they request that they be given space and privacy to deal with this tragedy; and they thank you for the prayers and support.”
While Kelly and her family have requested for privacy, the police are still investigating Senzo’s death. No arrests have been made yet.
Senzo Meyiwa’s dad takes on Kelly Khumalo
It has just emerged that Kelly Khumalo is allegedly refusing to return Senzo Meyiwa’s belongings to his family.
Sam Meyiwa told Drum magazine that he’s planning a trip to Joburg to claim his son’s belongings. Apparently Kelly is refusing to hand over the soccer star’s ID and has been driving around in Senzo’s brand new BMW X6.
“I don’t know what will happen but I won’t allow her to keep Senzo’s belongings. I will come back dead too, if that’s what it takes because I am not going to allow that,” he told the mag.
This comes hot on the heels of reports that the singer has been barred from the funeral. The angered father has reportedly made it clearly that Kelly is not welcome at the funeral and has labelled her a “show off
