Tamera Mowry-Housely is following in her twin’s footsteps now that she’s pregnant with her first child. Tia Mowry’s sister and former “Sister, Sister” star announced her baby news this week for People magazine’s latest issue.
“Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends,” she said. “We can’t wait to meet this little miracle!”
Tamera, 33, and her husband, Adam Housely, 40, were wed in Napa Valley, Calif., in May 2011 and are expecting their baby this November. Tia had her son, Cree, last June.
Both Tamera and her husband are Fox News correspondents and conceived their baby while on a trip to South Africa. “It’s just so beautiful there and you get a whole new perspective on life, the things that really matter,” she said. “Adam and I looked at each other and said, ‘Why wait?’ ”
The twin was spotted on Twitter this week sharing pictures of her small baby bump while holding a copy of her sister’s book on pregnancy. Mowry-Housely is said to be in her second trimester.
