A British businessman who recently helped broker a deal in between Jay-Z and soccer star Ashley Cole has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
According to FOX News, police questioned Chris Nathaniel, Head of NVA Entertainment Group, over the murder of 18-year-old Danny O’Shea. O’Shea was stabbed to death in front of his East London home last December.
Nathaniel, 39, helped get Jay-Z together Chelsea star Cole in a multimillion dollar deal to open up a London branch of Jay-Z 40/40 restaurant and clubs.Nathaniel has been linked with many other British sports stars, and also claims to be promoting Usain Bolt.
“We have done some exciting deals and worked with some world-class names, but this collaboration of Ashley Cole and Jay-Z has to be one of the most exciting, and it makes the nine months of negotiations worth it,” said Nathaniel when the deal was made.
Nathaniel and a friend were arrested upon landing at London’s Heathrow airport after a flight from the United States. The two men both released on bail until March. A total of nine other suspects have been arrested and bailed in connection to the murder. Police are still urging witnesses with any information to come forward.
